Holiday Decorating Inspiration: Tablescapes
First up are tablescapes. There are so many options and I’m going to take you through how I created mine the last couple of years. Last year I made a eucalyptus garland with flowers in jewel tones. I added several gold votives for a pretty warm glow. Head here to get all the details. Learn how to diy a eucalyptus garland by heading here. You can buy fresh eucalyptus here & here.
In 2016 I scoured the dollar spot section of my favorite store and made this tablescape for under $50! I was so happy with how it turned out and I didn’t have to spend a fortune for a high end look! See my tips on how you can create an affordable, gorgeous tablescape for Thanksgiving here.
Although my eucalyptus garland tablescape can be used for either Thanksgiving or Christmas I decided to change it up for my Christmas tablescape. I added pretty greenery and these cute wooden chargers under our white china. To create this look head here for all my tips!

Holiday Decorating Inspiration: Sideboards
Next up are sideboards. It’s always so much fun to decorate around the holidays. Last year was my first opportunity to decorate a sideboard and I loved updating ours from Thanksgiving to Christmas. This sideboard is the BEST and holds all my dining essentials. It’s sleek modern lines are what drew me in and also how functional it is! See how I put together this look for Thanksgiving by heading here.
After Thanksgiving I decided to add a holiday whimsical feel to our sideboard. I kept the theme simple and kept some of the items the same from the Thanksgiving sideboard look and updated it by adding some cute trees and reindeer. Head here to see how I gave our sideboard a little holiday magic!

Holiday Decorating Inspiration: Christmas Trees
Decorating our Christmas tree is one of the highlights every year. I love that the girls can now help me and really enjoy the process of placing the ornaments on the tree. Here are a few from the last couple of years. Blush pink, gold, and copper have always been my favorite! To see this tree below from our last home (that I re-used last year in our new home) head here.
This vignette with the basket pillows and presents is one of my most popular pins on Pinterest! It was so fun to create 🙂
You can see how I reused our pretty Rose Gold Christmas tree last year and gave it a few updates. Head to this post to see the full tour.
Last year our mantel wasn’t finished but I made the best of it! I can’t wait to decorate my mantel this year! I invested in this faux Christmas tree and was so happy I did – the branches and shape is gorgeous and it’s a steal! Head here for our Christmas living room Holiday Tour.
