Modern Farmhouse Christmas Living Room with Navy + Copper + Rose Gold
Today I’m sharing our modern farmhouse Christmas living room with navy + copper + rose gold.
This year I was craving something different and I also didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a new color scheme or theme. So I decided to add to my previous year color scheme of rose gold + copper (you can find those posts here & here). I was drawn to navy this year and I searched Pinterest for inspiration. I wasn’t able to find many navy + copper + rose gold Christmas pictures. This meant I could create something truly different and unique!

Navy Accents
I searched for navy ornaments and couldn’t find any that I truly loved. So instead I opted for beautiful navy magnolia flowers with copper. I was immediately drawn to them as an option to add to my current rose gold and copper ornaments. You can find mine here and a more affordable option here that you can add copper glitter to the center. Our new area rug with blue and navy accents inspired me to add navy to our Christmas decor this year!
Initially I found a faux fur navy tree skirt but it felt too heavy. For that layer of texture I was searching for I decided on a white faux fur rug. I found it tucked away in the closet (score!) and wrapped it around the the bottom of the tree. I found the prettiest silk navy ribbon with shimmery gold and added that to the wreath that I used last year. Just adding these simple touches of navy transformed the look from last year!
Combining Navy + Copper + Rose Gold
The copper and rose gold add warmth to the navy. Navy creates such a beautiful contrast. It’s not a typical combo but I’m loving it! My tip: Use what you have year to year and swap out one of the colors or change one of the colors to achieve a different look without spending a fortune on an entire new set of ornaments and decorative accents.
Navy + Copper Mantel for Christmas
I was so excited to actually have a mantel this year! Last New Year’s Eve Dion made my mantel dreams come true and diy’d this pretty rustic mantel. Here are two great options if a diy isn’t your jam. Head here and here to see these pre-made options. Stay tuned for all the details on our diy coming soon!
On a recent trip to Trader Joe’s I found this pretty real cedar garland and decided it would be perfect on our mantel! Here are some fresh cedar garland options:
I found these cream-colored cable knit stockings for $12.99 – it was love at first sight! You can find a similar option here. Technically I should have four hanging stockings but I like to break design rules and two was enough for me!
I added copper votives and gold lanterns for warmth and that extra glow. Throwing birch logs in a cool basket is a great way to decorate the hearth area of your fireplace.
Navy + Copper + Rose Gold Christmas Tree
I love our faux pre-lit tree – it’s such a steal! The mixed branch detail and size is awesome.
Navy Ribbon + Copper Wrapping Paper
I ordered copper wrapping paper and found this rose gold dot option at one of my favorite budget stores! The navy ribbon continues with my navy accent color theme and the presents compliment the tree perfectly!
Navy + Copper + Rose Gold Christmas at Night
I wanted to share our modern farmhouse living room for Christmas at night. It feels extra magical and cozy at night!
I love the warm cozy glow of the lights against the copper and rose gold.Â
