Neutral + Cozy Master Bedroom with Wallpaper: The Reveal

I’m so excited to share our neutral + cozy master bedroom with wallpaper and the full reveal with you! I have partnered with Serena & Lily for this master bedroom update. All opinions are my own and as you know I only work with brands I trust and truly love!

Let’s take a quick look at how our master bedroom looked when we bought our fixer upper a little over a year ago so you can truly appreciate this transformation.

It was lacking personality and needed so many things. I was up for the challenge!

Neutral Does Not Have to Be Boring

I love using pops of color throughout our home but when it comes to designing a look that will stand the test of time I go with neutrals every single time! Neutrals do not need to be boring! I added lots of pattern and texture to give our master bedroom a neutral and cozy vibe.

This rug I scored has a beautiful pattern yet it’s neutral color tones pair well with everything! I added linen shams, a cozy and soft blanket and linen quilt to keep us warm at night.

Layer on the Cozy

The key for a cozy master bedroom in my opinion is layering. Adding a fluffy duvet with a pretty duvet cover, a gorgeous bedskirt, quilt and throw blanket are some simple ways you can do this! Our duvet cover and sheets are made out of a soft and silky sateen. Our sleeping experience has been elevated with these extra cozy and luxurious touches. I’m not sure why I waited so long to invest in these key items and but I’m so glad I finally did!

Wallpaper for the Win

The showstopper in our neutral and cozy master bedroom reveal is hands down the wallpaper. This beautiful wallpaper from Serena & Lily transformed our bedroom in a very subtle way! I love the pattern and neutral tones.

Neutral Accents

I chose neutral accents to decorate our room. White lamps, wooden trays and our rattan mirror add little neutral touches throughout our master bedroom. This gorgeous euro sham is my absolute favorite and it adds the perfect neutral accent to our all white bedding. I layered the white bedding with a neutral linen quilt for extra coziness.

This view is my favorite reminding me why I love living in California so much!

Our pretty bench pairs well with our neutral update and compliments rather than competing. The bedskirt looks so pretty against the rug and I love the fringe detail. I put my steamer to work but some of the wrinkles will continue to release over time! You can never go wrong with a tassel pillow and I love this one so much!
