Valentine’s Day is always so much fun to celebrate because it follows my birthday and the girls feel like they are extending my birthday celebration with lots of fun and yummy treats!

Valentine’s Day Corner

If you have been following along with me on Instagram and my stories you know that I have been working on getting the playroom organized. I’ll be sharing all of my playroom organization tips in an upcoming post so make sure to subscribe to the blog to get all the latest.

I wanted to add a little love to this little corner of the playroom. I found a couple of items by “shopping my home” and also making a trip to the local craft store where I purchased this cute felt heart for our burlap board. This little area is where the girls draw, craft and create. I wanted to make it extra special for them.

Valentine’s Day Crafts & Fun

I love putting storage caddys to good use and filling them with their favorite items – crayons, colored pencils, construction paper, and all sorts of treasures like magnifying glasses and fun erasers. Everything is at their fingertips and they have the creative freedom to make whatever their heart desires! You can find our galvanized storage caddy here and some other favorites here and here. I love this picture frame – I’ve had it for years and how they are giving each other a smooch – I hope they always love one another this much!! xoxo

Their table and chairs has held up to the elements – I gave it new life and chalk painted it with white and grey paint a couple of years ago and it’s still holding strong! There are a few nicks and scratches but it gives it that rustic and vintage character I love! I found these cute Valentine’s bags at the dollar spot section at Target last year – they are soo cute!

Our Sweet Little Valentine – Mavis

Of course someone had to photo bomb my photo session but I didn’t mind until she tried eating the girls teepee! lol! Our puppy Mavis is definitely our sweet Valentine this year. She has stolen our hearts and we love her to pieces!

We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with a yummy heart shaped cake and with our sweet little welsh terrier puppy – Mavis, giving her lots of much deserved love and attention. I am soaking up the puppy snuggles as much as I can! I hope you have enjoyed seeing our playroom decorated for Valentine’s Day and are inspired to add a little extra love to your kiddos spaces!
