DIY Rustic Floral Easter Tablescape
Happy spring! Today I’m joining some of my favorite blogging friends to share our Spring and Easter tablescapes! I’m sharing my DIY Rustic Floral Easter Tablescape. True to form I chose to “shop my house” looking for items I already own. I went digging in the dollar spot section of one of my favorite stores to find a few gems for this DIY tablescape.
I decided to get creative and crafty with this tablescape. I only added a few new items like these pretty new set of plates since a couple of my everyday china was showing wear and tear. I’m obsessed with this grey floral pattern – see the link below – it was a total score!
If you have been following my tablescape escapades on the blog you know I like to challenge myself to pull off a pretty and sophisticated look without spending a fortune. I accomplished this by using many items I had previously purchased like my cute little rustic bunnies, cake stands, glassware, and rattan chargers. I also used my favorite grey ruffle table runner again – you can see how I have used this runner in this post. It’s so versatile and goes with everything.
I found these pretty little spray roses that are the prettiest blush pink – the little ends started to wilt but gave a vintage look that I just love.
The items I scored at my favorite dollar spot section are these beautiful light blue napkins and these adorable wooden bunnies. They were a $3 garland with pom-pom detail. I cut them in order to separate the bunnies so I could use them individually at each place setting. I tucked a small rose behind the bunny for a pretty floral look – super simple but gave it just the right touch. What do you think?
I added a few pink eggs to give additional color and layered everything with different heights using cake stands.
I love mixing metals – the silver, grey, gold and pastel colors all compliment one another.
You can personalize these cute little wooden bunnies with each guest’s name! So the next time you see the random cute items at the dollar spot section – think outside the box – challenge yourself to think creatively. I hope I have inspired you to think beyond the garland – just because you purchase it that way doesn’t mean it has to stay that way! lol!
