Modern Farmhouse Simple DIY Fall Wreath
Today I’m sharing my modern farmhouse simple diy fall wreath. I’m not a fan of complicated diy’s – this one is easy and simple – yay for that! You can customize your fall wreath with whatever colors your drawn to and coordinate with your color scheme. I’m going with warm neutrals this year – shades of brown, rust and cream. I’ve included a video below that I will also share on Instagram with my tips and links to shop.
Modern Farmhouse Elements for Fall
I chose this rattan wreath for a rustic feel. I love the texture it adds to our home. There are so many options for faux flowers. I chose flowers that evoke a feel similar to what you would find during the fall season – mums, dahlias and some green leaves. The buffalo check ribbon in a neutral tone adds the perfect modern farmhouse element. Adding a mini chalkboard that can be removed gives it a little custom touch!
DIY Fall Wreath
1. Start with either a rattan or grapevine wreath.
2. Choose a color scheme.
3. Select your faux flowers based on your color scheme.
4. Cut the flowers leaving part of the faux stem exposed to tuck into the wreath.
5. Arrange flowers around the wreath – be creative, there is no right or wrong!
6. Tuck the flowers where you can and then get your glue gun ready to secure any that may feel loose.
7. Add a cute sign to customize your fall wreath.
8. Add a pretty ribbon to secure and hang your wreath.
9. Use a pretty yet removable hook to hang your wreath on your front door or anywhere you’d like!
Customizing Your Modern Farmhouse Fall Wreath
You can customize your modern farmhouse fall wreath by adding a cute sign. Here’s what my wreath looks like with the chalkboard sign. I’ve linked several other cute options for you.
Here’s what it looks like without the sign.
