Sharing My Story to Inspire Others

Sharing our stories connect us to one another. Especially when we connect via social media. It makes us feel more real, tangible and can give you a better perspective and understanding.

One of the many reasons why I share with you here on the blog and on Instagram is because I enjoy connecting, sharing something helpful, inspiring you…I love how so many of us can relate to one another.

Sharing My Story

Whenever I have an opportunity to pass along what I have learned or a chance to motivate others I get excited. Being able to inspire someone to believe in themselves and reach for the sky is something that makes me happy and fulfills me.

A few weeks ago I was asked to share my story. Why 1111 Light Lane? How I juggle my nursing career and blogging career.

It was an opportunity in a online magazine that shares San Diego’s most inspiring stories called SDVoyager Magazine. One of my blogging/IG buddies recommended me for one of their series called “Trailblazers: Rewriting the Narrative”. I was honored that she thought of me (thank you sweet Ronni).

Making Connections & Inspiring Others

I love being able to connect with you – my readers and followers. While sharing and connecting, I’ve discovered that you are also the most amazingly kind people, who are nurses, moms, bloggers, some are also influencers and a lot of design enthusiasts. Connecting with some of you from all over the world and also on a local San Diego level as well. I am so grateful for this opportunity to share my story and inspire others to live out their dreams.

I’ve been asked recently if I would share more on the blog about my nursing background and how and why I decided to teach. I would love the opportunity to delve into some of those topics – so stay tuned for a few posts in the future.
