Decking the Halls with a Rose Gold Christmas Tree

Hi and Happy Holidays! This year we are decking our halls with a rose gold Christmas Tree! I’m obsessed and can’t wait to share it with you. This year I ditched red and green. Don’t get me wrong I love red and green for Christmas but with my copper obsession going strong it led me to a rose gold theme and next thing you know I was ordering this pretty little tree! Instead of a tree skirt I went with a crate for a farmhouse vintage look. I made simple presents with ribbon (of course with shades of rose gold) and plain white boxes. I added mini ornaments to add a little charm.

Styling Tip #1: Pretty Presents that Coordinate (rose gold ribbon and ornaments)

I added mini ornaments and pretty ribbon to these simple plain white boxes. Ribbon and ornaments can go a long way and save you time – no wrapping needed!

This grey felt basket is by far one of my most favorite purchases. I snagged it last year and it’s back in stock this year! Yay! It is so versatile and I love placing it in front of our fireplace with a pillow and decided it would also be a perfect spot to hold our pretty presents!

Styling Tip #2: Don’t forget to put your best Holiday Shelfie forward! (I included colorful books, rose gold, pink accents and gold antlers in mine!)

I couldn’t leave out our media built-in shelves. They were decked with items I had around the house and a few Christmas items from last year.

Styling Tip #3: Ditch the Tree Skirt – think crate, basket, or cute metal tin!

I love that this vintage apple crate actually fit our tree! With the stand on no less! I placed the entire tree (stand included) on books to add height then threw a small weighted bean bag around the base to keep the tree from falling over. Then I placed a cute plaid blanket to cover and hide the bottom and voila – tree in a crate!

Styling Tip #4: Twinkle Lights Make Everything Better

This garland was a total score and I love the sparkly leaves, pink ornaments and vintage elements. I added twinkle lights for a magical look. They are a really fun and inexpensive way to add an extra glow to your garland. If you look really close you can see my reflection holding the camera in one of the ornaments – lol! #bloggerlife

Styling Tip #5: Add Faux Fur

I draped a white faux fur rug over our ottoman and added faux fur pillows to our sofa – can you ever have enough faux fur?

That concludes our tour with one last close-up of our magical rose gold Christmas tree and all the sparkle dust on our floors! I’ll be cleaning up sparkles into the new year! 🙂 Remember to fluff and straighten your tree branches (with an artificial tree like mine) and don’t stress over making sure your ornaments are perfectly placed – it takes the fun and magic out of the decorating process! My little ones helped me and while I had to move a few around (all were at the bottom – lol!) I really focused on letting go of perfection and enjoyed the fun glow of this beautiful tree!

I hope you have a joyful, healthy, and wonderful holiday with your loved ones!
